A Briony Raymond Estate Antique Amethyst & Aquamarine Necklace and Earring Suite, circa early 1800s, composed of six natural oval-cut amethysts alternating with delicately sculpted 18 karat yellow gold floral links hand-set with natural oval-cut aquamarines. The necklace centers upon a prominent oval-cut amethyst suspending a pear-shaped aquamarine drop, while finely chased foliate goldwork frames each gemstone, creating beautiful articulation throughout. The accompanying earrings are designed en suite, each featuring an oval-cut amethyst surmount above an oval-cut aquamarine within sculptural foliate goldwork, suspending an elongated pear-shaped amethyst drop. The necklace is finished with an integrated push closure. The earrings are finished with French wire.
