A Vintage Diamond Cascading Necklace/Brooch, circa 1940s, featuring three graduated rows of alternating natural round brilliant baguette-cut diamonds, each strand delicately articulated. The strands converge at one side into a sculptural diamond-set arch motif composed of alternating arches of natural baguette-cut and natural round brilliant diamonds. At the opposite side, a diamond-set ribbon motif accents the second convergence, crafted in sculptural arches of natural channel-set baguette-cut diamonds. From the ribbon descends an articulated diamond tassel suspended in graduated tiers, composed of alternating natural round brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds. The necklace is finished with an integrated closure and designed to be worn either as a necklace or as a standalone brooch.
